Sleeping With The Bears

Yesterday we decided to go visit the Animal Santuary at Dan Nicholas Park where we were camping. It only cost $1.00 to get in & we saw bald eagles, turtles, raccoons, chickens, white tailed deer, red foxes, bears, red shouldered hawks, bob cats, & red wolves.

It was 4:00 pm & we decided to leave only to discover that somebody had locked us in! Very tall chain link fences with a padlock! Creepy! I yelled real loud at some people to get help & they ran fast to catch a worker who was driving away. Whew! He let us out & I wondered...why would a person not come & check to make sure the people were gone before locking up for the night?

Good thing we didn't have to spend the night with the wolves & bears. I get hungry!
